1   Scope This International Standard specifies requirements for ventilation of petrol engine and petrol tank compartments in small craft of up to 24 m length of hull, having petrol engines for propulsion, electrical generation or mechanical power, to prevent accumulation of explosive gases in these compartments. Personal watercraft are not covered.
