What is ISO 12311- Test methods for sunglasses and related eyewear about?
ISO 12311 is an international standard on personal protective equipment that discusses the test methods for sunglasses and related eyewear to ensure protection against direct sunlight. ISO 12311 specifies reference test methods for determining the properties of sunglasses given in ISO 12312 (all parts). ISO 12311 is applicable to all sunglasses and related eyewear. Note: Other test methods may be used if proven to be equivalent.
