Abstract
1 Scope This document specifies the determination of aldehydes and ketones content in polyether polyols and polymer polyols by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). This document is applicable to the determination of formaldehyde (HCHO), acetaldehyde (CH 3 CHO), acrolein (CH 2 =CHCHO) and acetone (CH 3 COCH 3 ) in polyether polyols and polymer polyols.
