This document specifies a four-cavity mould, the type С ISO mould, for the injection moulding of small tensile bars measuring ≥ 60 mm × 10 mm × 3 mm (the type CW11 test specimen in ISO 20753).

Overview
EN - Plastics - Injection moulding of test specimens of thermoplastic materials - Part 2: Small tensile bars specifies the design and use of a four‑cavity for producing small tensile bars (type CW11 in ). The standard covers mould geometry, dimensional tolerances and practical moulding guidance to ensure reproducible test specimens of at least (thickness 3.0 mm ± 0.2 mm). It is intended for preparing indicative specimens used when assessing environmental effects (chemicals, heat, weathering) on thermoplastic materials.
