Measurements: Continuous or periodic attenuation monitoring throughout the test; final examinations per IEC 61300-3-1 and IEC 61300-3-4 to detect permanent damage or attenuation out-of-spec conditions.
Recovery: After testing, specimens remain at standard conditions for 2 h and are cleaned per manufacturer instructions prior to final measurements.

Severity: Determined by temperature range, humidity levels and number of cycles; Table 1 in the standard provides recommended severity levels and examples.
