IEC 62863:2017

Overview

IEC 62863:2017 - Method of measuring performances of electric hair clippers or trimmers for household use - defines standardized test methods for reciprocating electric hair clippers and trimmers intended for household use with a rated voltage not greater than 250 V. The standard describes how to measure performance (not safety or pass/fail performance requirements) and is intended to produce repeatable, comparable test data for manufacturers, test laboratories and product developers.
