IEC 63086-2-1:2024 - Household and similar electrical air cleaning appliances - Methods for measuring the performance - Part 2-1: Particular requirements for determination of particle reduction - specifies laboratory test methods to quantify how effectively electrically powered household and similar remove particulate pollutants. The standard defines aerosols, measurement instrumentation, calculation procedures and acceptance criteria used to determine performance metrics such as the and decay constants for particle number concentration.
