ISO 16311-2:2024 - "Maintenance and repair of concrete structures - Part 2: Assessment of existing concrete structures" - defines a structured, repeatable process for assessing the condition and structural performance of existing concrete works. The standard covers the full assessment cycle: planning, site and laboratory investigation, evaluation and verification, prediction of future behaviour, recommendations and reporting. It is the second edition (2024) and updates the 2014 edition (notably by adding prediction as a formal clause).
