ISO 16900-3:2012 - "Respiratory protective devices - Methods of test and test equipment - Part 3: Determination of particle filter penetration" specifies standardized for separate or integral filters used in respiratory protective devices (RPDs). The standard defines the test principle, required apparatus, aerosols, test procedures (short-term, full exposure, storage-after-exposure), data reporting and measurement uncertainty to support consistent, reproducible filter performance evaluation.
