ISO 19012-3:2015 specifies the relation of spectral characteristics between optical design and the description to microscope users for the spectral transmittance of objectives, as the guideline. NOTE This part of ISO 19012 does not apply to objectives exclusively used on stereomicroscopes.
Abstract
Overview
ISO 19012-3:2015 provides guidelines for reporting the spectral transmittance of microscope objectives, defined as the objective spectral transmittance by design (). The standard connects optical design characteristics to clear, consistent transmittance information so users can select objectives for imaging, fluorescence, laser and multiwavelength work. Note: this part does not apply to objectives used exclusively on stereomicroscopes.
