Abstract
Overview
ISO 19135-1:2015/Amd 1:2021 is an amendment to the international standard titled Geographic information - Procedures for item registration - Part 1: Fundamentals. Developed by ISO Technical Committee ISO/TC 211 in cooperation with the European Committee for Standardization (CEN/TC 287), this amendment updates the 2015 first edition to enhance the procedures for registering geographic information items. It integrates provisions from the withdrawn standard to ensure comprehensive guidance on item registration fundamentals, including the introduction of XML schema support through a new annex.
