ISO 20019:2001

Overview

ISO 20019:2001 specifies dimensional and construction requirements for hitch rings used to attach agricultural, non-balanced trailers and implements to the rear of towing vehicles. The standard ensures interchangeability of mechanical connections between agricultural vehicles when the towing vehicle is equipped with a hook conforming to ISO 6489-1. ISO 20019 applies specifically to rings whose coupling point lies below the centre-line of the rear axle and below the tractor PTO (power take-off).
