ISO 21130:2019

Overview

ISO 21130:2019 specifies technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings for the major components of emergency towing arrangements (ETA) fitted to tankers, gas carriers (LPG, LNG, etc.) and chemical vessels of not less than 20 000 DWT. The standard covers both bow and stern ETA components and supports compliance with IMO expectations for emergency tow capability on large product and gas carriers.
