Abstract
Overview
ISO 22000:2018/Amd 1:2024 is Amendment 1 to the ISO 22000:2018 food safety management system standard. This amendment introduces explicit climate action considerations by modifying subclauses 4.1 and 4.2: organizations are required to determine whether climate change is a relevant issue (addition to 4.1), and a note is added that relevant interested parties can have requirements related to climate change (4.2). The amendment strengthens the intersection of , climate change and stakeholder requirements across the food chain.
