Overview
ISO 2475:2025 - "Chloroprene rubber (CR) - General-purpose types - Evaluation procedure" (sixth edition) defines laboratory protocols to evaluate the vulcanization and basic physical/chemical properties of general-purpose chloroprene rubbers (CR). The standard covers sampling, sample preparation, required tests on raw rubber, standard test formulations, mixing and processing methods (mill and miniature internal mixer), and cure/vulcanization evaluation procedures. It is intended for consistent, reproducible assessment of sulfur‑modified and mercaptan‑modified CR grades.
