ISO 26429-4:2008 - "Digital cinema (D‑cinema) packaging - Part 4: MXF JPEG 2000 application" specifies how JPEG 2000 image codestreams for digital cinema are mapped into the Material Exchange Format (MXF) for D‑cinema workflows. Based on SMPTE 422M, this ISO standard constrains MXF mapping, KLV keys/ULs, and essence descriptors to ensure interoperable packaging of DCDM (Digital Cinema Digital Master) image essence for 2K and 4K profiles.
