ISO 2804:1996 specifies standardized for as‑sintered hardmetal (carbide) pellets used as cores for wire, bar and tube drawing dies. The standard defines a series of outside diameters, a range of bore sizes, certain internal dimensions and associated machining allowances and tolerances. It applies to pellets with intended for application groups A to F as defined in (steel/non‑ferrous wire, bar and tube drawing dies).
