Overview
ISO 3469:1989 - "Passenger cars - Windscreen washing systems - Test methods" defines standardized laboratory and bench/vehicle procedures to verify the functioning of windscreen (windshield) washing systems fitted to passenger cars. This second edition (1989) replaces and specifies test fixtures, environmental conditions, test mixtures and procedural steps. The standard provides test methods only - it prescribe reference performance levels or acceptance criteria. Annexes A, B and C are normative (integral); Annex D is informative.
