Abstract
Overview
ISO 4074:2026 is the international standard developed by ISO that specifies the requirements and test methods for male condoms made from natural rubber latex. This standard is intended to ensure that natural rubber latex condoms offer effective protection against sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and unintended pregnancies by establishing rigorous quality, design, and testing criteria. ISO 4074:2026 does not address requirements for any medicinal substances that may be added to or delivered by condoms; such matters are to be handled under relevant national or regional regulations.
