ISO 4406:2021 - Hydraulic fluid power - Fluids - Method for coding the level of contamination by solid particles - defines a standardized used to report the quantity and size distribution of solid particles in hydraulic fluids. The ISO 4406:2021 code converts particle counts into broad scale numbers so cleanliness can be communicated consistently across suppliers, manufacturers and service organizations.
