Overview

ISO 5019-2:1984 - Refractory bricks - Dimensions - Part 2: Arch bricks specifies standardized dimensions for arch (vault) refractory bricks. Published by ISO/TC 33 (Refractory materials) in 1984, this part of ISO 5019 defines two series of arch bricks with constant average thickness (notably 64 mm and 76 mm series) and one series with a constant cold-face dimension. The document replaces the earlier recommendation ISO/R 1145-1969 and includes a tabulated set of brick formats (dimensions in millimetres) commonly used in industrial furnaces and kilns.
