Overview
ISO 5149-4:2022 - "Refrigerating systems and heat pumps - Safety and environmental requirements - Part 4: Operation, maintenance, repair and recovery" - specifies safety and environmental requirements for the operation, maintenance, repair and recovery (including reuse and disposal) of refrigerants, refrigerant oil, heat transfer fluids and refrigerating system components. It is the 2022 second edition of Part 4 of the ISO 5149 series and is intended to minimize risks to persons, property and the environment arising from improper handling, contamination or emissions of refrigerants. Motor vehicle air conditioners covered by product standards (e.g., ISO 13043) are excluded.
