ISO 5284:1986 - "Conveyor belts - List of equivalent terms" is an international multilingual vocabulary that standardizes terminology used for conveyor belts and related components. Published as the second edition on 15 December 1986, it cancels and replaces the first edition (1983). The standard was prepared by ISO/TC 41 (pulleys and belts) and is indexed under ICS 01.040.53 (materials handling equipment - vocabularies) and 53.040.20 (components for conveyors).
