ISO 544:2024

Overview

ISO 544:2024 - "Welding consumables: Technical delivery conditions for filler materials and fluxes - Type of product, dimensions, tolerances and markings" defines the delivery requirements for filler materials and fluxes used in fusion welding. The sixth edition updates and replaces ISO 544:2017 and covers product types, dimensional tolerances, packaging, marking and inspection documentation. This standard applies to filler materials and fluxes only and explicitly does not cover auxiliary materials such as shielding gases.
