ISO 5555:2001/Amd 1:2014 is an important international amendment to the ISO 5555:2001 standard, focusing on the sampling methods for animal and vegetable fats and oils transported in flexitanks. Flexitanks are flexible plastic or rubber bags placed inside rigid containers used for transporting liquid fats and oils. This amendment addresses the growing use of flexitanks for small volumes of high-value fats and oils and establishes from these packaging systems.
