Overview
ISO 5855-3:1999 is an international standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) under the title Aerospace - MJ threads - Part 3: Limit dimensions for fittings for fluid systems. The standard defines the limit dimensions for MJ (metric screw thread, aerospace series) threads used in fittings designed for aerospace fluid systems. This ensures compatibility, reliability, and interchangeability of threaded fittings found in critical aviation and spaceflight fluid systems, such as hydraulics and fuel systems.
