ISO 6531:2024 - Machinery for forestry - Portable chain‑saws - Vocabulary is the fifth edition of the international terminology standard for portable chain‑saws. It defines clear, harmonized terms for the mechanical aspects of portable chain‑saws, including the , , safety devices and control systems. The standard includes illustrative positions (Annex A, Figure A.1) and incorporates updates from the 2017 edition (new bar nose terms, added figure, renumbering and clarifications).
