This document specifies requirements for round, cold-drawn, high-tensile steel wire, that is either plain, indented, spiral ribbed or crimped. The product is supplied as mill coil wire or straightened and stress-relieved wire in coils or cut lengths, according to the general requirements specified in ISO 6934-1.

Overview
ISO 6934-2:2024 provides internationally recognized specifications for cold-drawn, high-tensile steel wire used in the prestressing of concrete. This part of the series defines requirements for round steel wire, available as plain, indented, spiral ribbed, or crimped types. The standard targets both mill coil wire and straightened, stress-relieved wire-supplied in coils or cut lengths-ensuring compatibility with general requirements.
