ISO 770:2002 defines quality characteristics for crude (raw) and rectified essential oils of Eucalyptus globulus (Eucalyptus globulus Labill.) to facilitate consistent assessment and trade. The standard specifies physical properties, a normative , sampling minimums and references standard test methods for laboratory verification. It replaces earlier editions and consolidates provisions for rectified grades (commonly presented as “70–75%” and “80–85%” 1,8‑cineole content).
