ISO 8062-1:2007 establishes a vocabulary of terms and definitions used to describe the features, form and tolerance types when assigning dimensional and geometrical tolerances to moulded parts in geometrical product specifications (GPS).
Abstract
Overview
ISO 8062-1:2007 is the first part of the series for of moulded parts. Its primary purpose is to establish a consistent - terms and definitions - used when assigning to parts produced by moulding processes. The standard covers moulded products such as castings, die forgings, injection-moulded parts, powder metallurgy parts, glass mouldings and rubber mouldings and defines language for features, form, tolerance types and related manufacturing elements (mould, die, cavity, core, etc.).
