ISO 8116-1:1995 - Textile machinery and accessories - Beams for winding - Part 1: General vocabulary defines the general vocabulary and the structural framework for beams used in winding operations in the textile industry. This second edition replaces the 1985 edition and serves as the foundational reference for terminology and classification of beams (warper’s, weaver’s, knitter’s, sectional, dyeing and ribbon beams) used across warp processing, weaving and knitting equipment.
