Abstract
Overview
ISO 9227:2022/Amd 1:2024 is an important amendment to the international standard ISO 9227:2022, which governs corrosion tests in artificial atmospheres using salt spray tests. This amendment primarily updates the footnote of warning related to the registered trademark "CAS Registry Number." The standard is developed by ISO Technical Committee TC 156, specializing in corrosion of metals and alloys, in collaboration with the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) to ensure harmonized corrosion testing methods worldwide.
