Overview
ISO/IEC 10536-3:1996 - "Identification cards - Contactless integrated circuit(s) cards - Part 3: Electronic signals and reset procedures" defines the electronic interface between a contactless integrated circuit(s) card (CICC) of the ID-1 format and a card coupling device (CCD). This part specifies the nature and characteristics of fields for power transfer, bidirectional communications (inductive and capacitive), and the reset / Answer To Reset (ATR) behaviour. It is intended to be used together with ISO/IEC 10536‑1 (physical characteristics) and ISO/IEC 10536‑2 (dimensions and coupling area locations).
