ISO/IEC 19784-4:2011

Overview

ISO/IEC 19784-4:2011 - Biometric sensor function provider interface - defines a standardized low-level interface that lets a Biometric Service Provider (BSP) interact with biometric sensors supplied by a separate Biometric Sensor Function Provider (BSFP). The standard is part of the BioAPI family (ISO/IEC 19784) and targets interoperability between BSPs and a wide range of biometric sensors (image cameras, voice sensors, digital signature tablets, etc.). Note: ISO/IEC 19784-4:2011 does not specify security or privacy requirements for capture or transfer across the Sensor Function Provider Interface (SFPI).
