Abstract
Overview
ISO/IEC 23090-19:2023 specifies reference software for Video-based Point Cloud Compression (V-PCC) as defined in ISO/IEC 23090-5. The standard provides example encoder and decoder implementations and supporting documentation to help developers, researchers and test labs study, implement and validate V-PCC (part of the Visual Volumetric Video-based Coding - V3C - framework). The reference package (DIS_23090-19_VPCC_reference_software.zip) and a user manual (mpeg-pcc-tmc2-sw-manual.pdf inside the archive) are made available through the ISO standards website.
