Overview
ISO/IEC 24775-3:2014 - Information technology - Storage management - Part 3: Common profiles - defines the common profiles and reusable building blocks used across the ISO/IEC 24775 storage management family. Part 3 provides background, terminology, a maturity model and a profile/recipe format. It groups transport-specific port profiles (SCSI/SPI, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, etc.) and other shared profiles, and includes cross-profile recipes (implementation pseudocode) that span multiple profiles. This part works together with Parts 1, 2 and 4–8 and replaces the 2011 second edition with a reorganization into eight parts, maturity stages and new profiles.
