Overview
ISO/IEC 8326:1996 - Information technology - Open Systems Interconnection - Session service definition - specifies the session layer (Layer 5) service model within the OSI architecture. The standard defines the session service’s structure, service conventions, primitives, phases (connection establishment, data transfer, release), and quality-of-service (QoS) parameters that govern session behavior.
