ISO/TS 19709-2:2015 specifies the main characteristics and the testing of durable, reusable, parallelepipedic containers and their accessories which form a column stackable system (CSS) designed to contain bulk or precisely located component loads up to maximum load of 20 kg used for automotive industry applications.

Overview
ISO/TS 19709-2:2016 - Transport packaging - Small load container systems - Part 2: - specifies the main characteristics and testing for durable, reusable, parallelepipedic small load containers (SLCs) and accessories used mainly in the automotive industry. The technical specification defines CSS functional features, dimensional requirements, allowable loads (maximum 20 kg), and accessory interfaces (lids and pallet covers) to enable secure column stacking, mechanical and automatic handling, and pooling.
