What is PD CEN/TS 17201 – Construction products about ?
PD CEN/TS 17201 is a European publication that discusses methods for the analysis of aqua regia digests for construction products. Aqua regia is a yellow-orange fuming liquid, so named by alchemists because it can dissolve the noble metals gold and platinum, though not all metals. PD CEN/TS 17201 specifies analytical methods for the determination of major, minor and trace elements in aqua regia digests of construction products. The methods in this Technical Specification apply to construction products.
