Overview
SIST EN ISO 10240:2024/A11:2026 sets out requirements for the content and structure of owner’s manuals for small craft. Developed by CEN, this European amendment aligns with and ensures that owners and operators have access to essential information for safe use, operation, and maintenance of their boats. The standard is designed to help manufacturers, importers, and boatbuilders comply with key aspects of the EU Recreational Craft Directive (2013/53/EU), supporting both user safety and regulatory conformity throughout the European market.
