- Geometrical product specifications (GPS) - Wedges - Part 1: Series of angles and slopes () defines the basic terms, nominal values and calculated parameters for wedges used in mechanical engineering. This GPS general standard specifies three series of (from down to ) and a series of (from to ). It establishes clear definitions for wedge-related features (wedge, wedge angle β, wedge slope S, rate of wedge C, wedge edge) and provides tabulated nominal and calculated values (angles, slopes, rates) to be used for design, tooling and metrology.
