ISO/TR 24094:2006 describes the validation of the calorific value and density calculated from current practice natural gas analysis by statistical comparison with values obtained by measurement using a reference calorimeter and a density balance.
Abstract
Overview
(adopted from ISO/TR 24094:2006) provides validation methods for used in natural gas analysis. The Technical Report defines how to validate calorific value and density values that are from routine natural gas analyses by statistically comparing them with made using a reference calorimeter and a density balance. The report documents the VAMGAS project approach and confirms that careful application of current ISO methods gives agreement between calculated and reference-measured physical properties.
