Conditioning as required, place assembly in support, load at 1–2 mm/min crosshead speed.
Test at least five specimens; record maximum load in newtons and compute shear strength in MPa.

Reporting: Must include adhesive identification, substrate materials and surface prep, application conditions, conditioning, number of specimens, crosshead speed, average loads and standard deviations.
