EN ISO 10426-2:2003/A1:2005 is an amendment to ISO 10426-2 (Part 2: Testing of well cements) published by CEN/ISO for the petroleum and natural gas industries. Amendment A1 adds a standardized Water‑Wetting Capability Test (WWCT) to evaluate how well spacers and preflushes restore a water‑wet condition to surfaces exposed to oil‑ and synthetic‑based drilling fluids - a key factor for achieving reliable cement bonding and well integrity.

- Report results as volume percentage V = Vs / (Vs + Vm) × 100, where Vs = volume of spacer required and Vm = initial mud volume (example: 150 ml spacer + 200 ml mud → 43%).
