Overview

EN ISO 12543-5:2021 - "Glass in building - Laminated glass and laminated safety glass - Part 5: Dimensions and edge finishing" - is the CEN-adopted ISO standard that specifies dimensional requirements, limit deviations and allowable edge finishes for laminated glass used in building applications. The standard applies to laminated and laminated safety glass panes (not applicable to panes smaller than 0.05 m²) and is intended to harmonize tolerances for manufacture, inspection and procurement across Europe.
