Overview
EN - Environmental management - Vocabulary () defines the standardized terminology used across the ISO 14000 family and related environmental management documents. The 2020 (fourth) edition reorganizes and broadens the vocabulary to support consistent communication in areas such as environmental management systems, auditing, footprinting studies, greenhouse‑gas management, climate adaptation, labeling and environmental communication. The document arranges terms in subclauses (3.1–3.12), includes concept diagrams (Annex A) and serves as the authoritative glossary for practitioners.
