Abstract
Overview
EN ISO 15493:2003/A11:2025 is a CEN amendment to the international standard for plastics piping systems for industrial applications made from ABS, PVC‑U and PVC‑C (metric series). The amendment A11 (approved April 2025) updates the European foreword and normative Annex ZA to align the standard with the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU (replacing the obsolete reference to Directive 97/23/EC). Annex ZA provides a presumption of conformity pathway when the standard is cited in the Official Journal of the EU.
