ISO 16180:2013 specifies requirements and gives guidelines for the placement, installation and visibility of navigation lights as described in COLREG for recreational craft of less than 24 m in length of hull, as described in ISO 8666. Annex A of ISO 16180:2013 lists additional information to be included in the owner's manual.

Overview
EN ISO 16180:2018 - Small craft: Navigation lights - Installation, placement and visibility provides requirements and guidance for the placement, installation and visibility of navigation lights on recreational craft under 24 m hull length (as defined in ISO 8666). It interprets COLREG lighting requirements for small craft and specifies how lights should be mounted, protected and described in owner’s documentation (see Annex A).
