ISO 17233:2017 specifies a method for determining the cold crack temperature of surface coatings applied to leather. It is applicable to all leathers which have a surface coating and which can be easily flexed.

EN - "Leather - Physical and mechanical tests - Determination of cold crack temperature of surface coatings" specifies a standardized test method to determine the of surface coatings applied to leather. Published by ISO and adopted as a CEN standard, this method applies to all easily flexed leathers with a surface coating and defines apparatus, sample preparation, procedure and reporting requirements for reproducible laboratory testing.
