Abstract
Overview
EN ISO 18119:2018/A2:2024 (ISO 18119:2018/Amd 2:2024) is Amendment 2 to the international standard covering periodic inspection and testing of seamless steel and seamless aluminium‑alloy gas cylinders and tubes. Approved by CEN in June 2024, this amendment updates normative references and specific requirements for non‑destructive testing (NDT) personnel and ultrasonic testing (UT) operations. The amendment is intended for adoption as a national standard across CEN member countries.
